It is human nature to put off the inevitable but the let’s just admit it; we all know it is going to happen. It can be hard to prepare for the end, but doing so allows you to take care of your family in the way you think best.
Making a will is one of the most important things you will ever do. By making a will you are providing as you see fit for those you love and care about, and ensuring they are looked after when you are gone.
One of the things about a will is that people feel it is a lot harder to do than it actually is. In fact it can be done in one afternoon and you can have peace of mind you have catered for everyone after your demise. (more…)

Filing for bankruptcy is a very difficult thing to do, especially if you consider yourself to be a responsible person, but credit card companies can be relentless even to their most loyal customers, and sometimes filing for bankruptcy is the only choice.
Before you file for bankruptcy, make sure that you are completely out of other options, because bankruptcy will stay on your credit report for ten years. If you’re filing for bankruptcy, it is likely that your credit score is already pretty low, so this might not affect you in a huge way. Before you can file, you must get some kind of consumer credit counseling from a US Trustee approved entity, to make sure that you have no other alternative. (more…)

If you have suffered an accident which is not your fault, either inside or outside the UK then you are entitled to compensation for it and so can make a personal injury claim.

Many citizens in the United Kingdom have fallen victim to false accusations which can result in prosecution and conviction. Let’s look into legal aid a little more; how to know if you qualify, what to do if you don’t and the sort of service you can expect when receiving legal aid. (more…)

I have worked as a customer service representative for a cable company for about a year.
My typical day consisted of helping customers with their service, answering their questions and doing my best to leave them satisfied. It is all done through the phone, so it was important to carefully guide and instruct them on how to do different things.
I am Hispanic, born and raised in Mexico City. I have indeed experienced discrimination, but not from my employer. The customers can be very discriminatory. (more…)

Many people are intimidated by the idea of making a will. One reason for this is simply because they don’t want to think about their deaths. However, another reason is because making a will can seem like a very complicated procedure. It’s actually not as complicated as it looks, and with a good lawyer, the process can go quite smoothly. Whether you’re in the middle of making a will or merely just considering it, it’s good to know some basic things about wills. For example, what is a will?
A will is a piece of paper that dictates how your belongings should be distributed after you die. The will must be written down — orally stating your wishes will not do the trick. In addition to naming beneficiaries in the will, you will name an executor. The executor has the job of overseeing the distribution of the assets according to the instructions provided in the will. If you leave assets to a minor child, the will should also appoint a guardian to take care of the minor’s assets until they reach the age of majority. (more…)
